About us

Synergy - Private standardisation

Standards are an integral part of daily life. There are few things or processes in our offices and households, in shops and in the street, which are not covered by standards.

Stakeholders expectations are increasing towards standards and the official national or international standardisation organisations and processes sometimes are not flexible enough to address this demand.

Private standardisation allows to address these needs on behalf of interested standard owners.

In order to ensure consistency, reliability, feasibility, neutrality and acceptance, Synergy operates a rigorous standardisation process complying with the following principles in order to avoid any unilateral position of the standard owner:

	Independent project leader
	All interested parties involved in the expert group
	Consultation open to a panel of interested parties and public at DS stadium
